Þadgar the Shrewd, first-born son of Kael the Rich, inherited the southernmost territory of the Valleys of Kael. Foreign partisans of Olden and Prignam threatened the traditional values of Þonart and his brothers, but Þadgar never once fell to the heathen’s swaying, and held fast the border of the true gods.
