First Voityllic Rift
First Voityllic Rift was the first incursion of the Moslager’s legions from Voitykras into Nurrheim, the first test of the Third Plane against the nihilistic revenant that had consumed the Second.
Working through the secret backdoor in the dome Prox had hastily raised about Nurrheim, the invasion struck during the Golden Age of the Jonorns under Emperor Raeus. The defense was led by Raeus himself and by the god Akura, son of Prignam and Oykrig, who together pressed the Moslager’s general to a climactic final duel and broke the incursion.
The Cost
The defense was not won without unbearable price. Prox and Scalda, the surviving creators of the Third Plane, who had escaped the apocalypse of the Second and raised the dome of Nurrheim in its wake, were both slain by the Moslager in the course of the invasion. Their deaths left the realm they had made without its makers; the lesser deities they had created in their own image, Prignam and Oykrig, were thereafter the highest powers of a creation that had outlived its creators.
Aftermath
For his valor, Raeus was elevated to co-emperor of Nurrheim alongside Hhargtkle. The price the goddess Prignam demanded was that the mortal she had created would become her consort, mirroring her own bond with Oykrig, but inverted. Raeus accepted.
What Prignam did not know was that Raeus and her son Akura were already secretly lovers. By accepting consortship, the Emperor gained more divine access to spend with Akura, not less; he played the goddess for a fool in her own realm, cuckolding her with her own son.
The deception held for over a millennium. When she discovered the truth, her rage burned the world. The catastrophe that followed is recorded as the War in Heaven.
